After Alex Fatato’s rock band, Du Vide, broke up he decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee. Living on his own in The South for the first time, Fatato played a couple shows and mostly wrote music at home. In January, he moved back to Boston and immediately began transforming his voice memos and home recorded demos into full band arrangements with friend and collaborator Brad Krieger (Big Nice Studio).

Settle Down is Alexander’s debut album. It’s about living on your own for the first time and the anxiety that comes with it. Alex is joined by a host of other friends, including John Margaris (Horse Jumper of Love) on bass guitar, Brendan Cornish on mandolin and banjo, as well as Judy Chong and Mason Schmitt, who provided additional vocals.
